Pushing Limits – James Ketchell
On 16th May 2011, 29 year old adventurer James Ketchell reached the summit of Mount Everest. Nearly a year previous to that and despite running out of food and only just avoiding a near fatal collision with an oil tanker, James had rowed single handed across the Atlantic Ocean. Three years prior to that he was recovering from a serious motorcycle accident that left him with broken legs, a severely broken and dislocated ankle and the prognosis that he was likely to suffer a permanent walking impairment.
James will illustrate his story through a series of photos and videos, and will be on hand to take any questions. He’ll also release details of his next expedition.
